As a retired RN who worked for years in neonatal intensive care, DeeAnn Bongiovanni incorporates her experience caring for women and children into her writing about privacy, pediatrics, and poetry. She holds an MA in Humanities, focused in Literature from the University of Houston, Clear Lake; a BA focused in Health Policy Research from DePaul University; and she earned a Certificate in Medical Writing from the University of Chicago.
